Thanks Annette.... this will be a very "informative" opportunity for us, enhancing our understanding and developing, growing in our abilities and capacities to work more collaboratively, effectively and satisfactorily together.

It is something that I would have benefitted from earlier as it is taking me a while to learn the hard way and am still/will be learning ..... forever 🙂 .

That's what I really appreciate about PAN members !

        Best, Denyse

They are offering the course 4 times in total, so 2 more times after the fall course in 2017

            Partners in Research

We are excited to announce that the Knowledge Translation Program at St. Michael's Hospital recently offered its first online course in patient-oriented research (POR) called Partners in Research (PiR). PiR was designed for patients, caregivers, and researchers to come together to learn about what POR is and how to become involved in it. The PiR course focuses on how patients, families, and healthcare researchers can work together to improve health research and healthcare.

This course is funded by the Ontario SPOR Support Unit (OSSU) and will be offered at no cost to patients, caregivers, and researchers 3 more times:

            • October-November 2017 - Course is currently full

            • April-May 2018

            • September - October 2018

For more information on the course and how to apply, please visit our website: http://knowledgetranslation.net/capacity-building/our-courses/partners-research-pir
