Health Standards Organization (HSO) - Be Part of the Technical Committees

The HSO is recruiting patient partners for different technical committees.

1. Leadership and Governance - develops standards and assesses leading practices related to the pursuit of excellence in leadership and governance.

2. Patient Safety - develops standards and assesses leading practices related to the reduction and prevention of harm and adverse events in the delivery of health services.

3. Biomedical Lab and Diagnosis Imaging - develops standards and assesses leading practices related to the delivery of biomedical and diagnostic lab services assisting health professionals in monitoring, assessing, and diagnosing their clients.

4. Acute and surgical prenatal health - coming soon

5. Global Health - develops standards and assesses leading practices related to to the provision of health care services to clients who travel outside their home country to obtain health care.

6. Rehabilitation Service - develops standards and assesses leading practices related to the pursuit of excellence in Rehabilitation services.

Time commitment: Each member is expected to serve on a committee for 2-3 years with approximately 7-10 hours per month.

Financial Assistance: Each member is expected to be a volunteer however if you can show need there may be compensation.
