      Your Input Is Needed!
Join A Caregiver Co-Design Working Group

The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) exists to make it easier for caregivers to be caregivers. Our work includes amplifying existing supports and services so all caregivers have access to the help they need regardless of where they live, disease or age. The OCO will also build new programs and services where gaps exist.

We can't do this work alone. We are currently looking for caregivers who are interested in partnering with us to co-design new supports and services.

Caregivers have told us they need access to the right information, at the right time. Working with caregiver partners, we would like to explore what information would be helpful early in the caregiving journey. While we refer to this as a starter kit, we are interested to not only hear from caregivers on what information would be valuable at the onset but also the most effective way to make the information available.

We are looking for approximately 6 - 8 caregiver partners to join this working group.

Working group members will invest approximately 8 - 10 hours over the project lifespan (between July and August). You will be asked to participate in an in-person, 2- hour workshop to help define what information should be covered and then remotely, offer your responses to the work as it develops. The first workshop will be scheduled for August 8 from 6 - 8 p.m. The meeting will be held at The Ontario Caregiver Organization - 180 Dundas Street W. Toronto.

      Your responsibilities:

      Participate in a workshop

Review and provide feedback on content

Caregivers will receive an honorarium in the amount of $150. In addition, expenses, including respite will be covered.
