      See opportunity below from Capticanada:

Have you been an ICU patient or cared for someone who was? Are you interested in becoming more actively engaged in critical care research?

We are looking to form a volunteer patient and family research interest group to guide us in the development of a new model of clinical research - one that blends the process of generating new knowledge with that of introducing it to improve patient care. The patient and family perspective is fundamentally important to this vision. We want to learn from your experiences as ICU patients or caregivers, to advise the research team.

      Areas of potential collaboration include:

Identifying important research questions and outcomes

Collaborating in figuring out how to enhance patient engagement in critical care

Reviewing materials to ensure that our research is understandable to the general public

Participating in, and even leading future research activities

If you are interested, we would love to talk with you about how critical care research can better address patient needs.

While we are looking for Ontario based volunteers, we hope to expand the program across the country in the very near future.

Do you see yourself as a patient research partner? If so, please complete the form below and we will be in touch soon!
