Complete a Survey for Women's College Hospital as part of an Evaluation on Virtual Care in the COVID-19 Era in Primary Care

What is the opportunity?

Women’s College Hospital Institute for Health Systems Solutions and Virtual Care (WIHV) is conducting an evaluation of virtual care services within family medicine/primary care on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Health. The WIHV team is seeking feedback from patients and caregivers on their experiences with virtual care services (i.e., phone, video or messaging visits) to understand: What has been your experience using virtual care as a patient/caregiver, on behalf of a patient? How often are you using virtual care? What are the benefits and challenges to using virtual care? What are your recommendations to improve virtual care services?

What is the purpose of this evaluation?

The onset of COVID-19 has created uncertainty on how healthcare services should be delivered across Ontario. The purpose of this evaluation is to understand the current usage of virtual care services within family medicine/primary care and suggestions for improvement. We are specifically interested in understanding benefits and challenges to engagement with virtual care services and recommendations to enhance the patient experience.
