Hello PAN members, I'm on a team looking for community members who have been on a community advisory board for a community-based research project. If you have and wish to participate in an interview, we will pay you $50 and your knowledge and experiences will help us understand better the relationship between researchers and community. Very interested to see the results of this research. I have seen very few examples of community members / patients / citizens having any say in what research is conducted or how. Usually called in after research proposal is completed to review the proposal, then invited to make comments and have very minor roles.

Thank you for the support Laurel. I'll keep you in mind and in the loop. However before we get to publishing the results we need more participants. I didn't realize how challenging it is to find people who meet the qualifications and are willing to be interviewed. I'm learning a lot being involved in projects like this.
