Join the Improving Primary Care Public Advisors Council
- recruiting primary care patients and care givers to join the Improving Primary Care Public Advisors Council.

The Council is led by Drs. Tara Kiran and Rick Glazier. Our team studies how decisions made by government have affected the quality of care delivered by family doctors in Ontario and how we can make family doctor care better. The Public Advisors Council will help guide our research program from shaping our questions to interpreting and sharing results.

The time commitment for the Council is approximately 10 hours/year for 2 years. Members will be asked to attend 1 virtual orientation and training session and 3-5 videoconference council sessions per year. A small honorarium will be provided following each council meeting. We anticipate holding the first council meeting in February 2021. We will be selecting 10-12 applicants for our Public Advisors Council. If you are not chosen as a council member, you can still be a part of a virtual pool of advisors. The virtual pool will receive quarterly team updates and there will be opportunities for further consultation.
