On May 25, CIHR and partners across the country will announce funding for two programs through the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR):

      • SPOR Support for People and Patient-Oriented Research and Trials (SUPPORT) Units: these units create an environment that fosters patient-oriented research across Canada and advance the integration of evidence in health decisions.
      • SPOR National Training Entity: this new platform will serve to increase capacity in patient-oriented research by bringing together the community and advancing the way patient-oriented research training and mentoring is done in Canada. Join us for this special event and hear from CIHR President Michael Strong, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health Jennifer O’Connell, and representatives from the SPOR community as they share their perspectives on the next phase of patient-oriented research in Canada.

      Tuesday, May 25th| 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (EST)

          Sorry to hear Jeannette.

What's also frustrating is that now it's postponed. Hopefully they will increase capacity.
