Evaluation of Digitally Enabled Primary Care - Project Information Letter - Patient.docx

Project Title -Understanding the emerging intersection between digitally-enabled and compassionate care.
The project team is seeking to interview people who have interacted with a healthcare provider using digital technologies . Open to all Canadian provinces + territories .Laura Desveaux with Women’s College Hospital is the PI for this study

      Overview :
Ontario has seen a rapid shift to digital care in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The rate of uptake necessarily outpaced the ability to understand whether and how this shift has an impact on the nature of the patient-provider relationship and the ability to deliver compassionate care. This evaluation will explore whether and how digital care has shifted the patient-provider relationship and the delivery of compassionate care; and to explore how patient or clinician characteristics influence the experience of digital care.

More details provided on the attached Project information letter . For further information contact Kelly Wu (Project lead) at Kelly.wu@wchospital.ca
