There is a patient co-presenter here - Jennifer Boyle, and this group has been including patients and caregivers in educating professionals at the student level in a Health Mentor program which is an elective for students in the health professions. (Get them when they're young)

The Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) Showcase celebrates excellence in team-based learning, collaborative care, interprofessional research and quality improvement, and leadership across our healthcare system. Offered jointly by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto, Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare & Education (CACHE), this virtual forum will provide a variety of speakers, presentations, and opportunities to connect. The IPC Showcase brings together people in diverse professions and roles to network with like-minded colleagues, share ideas, and create new opportunities for collaboration!
