The ICES public advisory council is now RECRUITING!!

ICES public advisory council is calling out for applications. Please apply by December 15, 2018. A time commitment of 16hours/year is required. Expenses for in-person meetings will be covered.

As part of the council you will be involved in various aspects on improving Data collection and how it is used to improve health care.

Thanks for this. Ontario so much ahead of other provinces on mining big data health outcomes. Wish there was more innovation and standardization of health data collection and evaluation in other provinces and across Canada. Fear provinces are going off in different directions with evaluation, monitoring health outcomes which will result in inequities in patient health services and limit benefit of health data in the long term. An opportunity for PAN to take proactive action perhaps?

Does anyone know where Canada Health Infoway is at with their goal to launch a campaign to activate patients to create demand for personal health information and digital health services??? And how it aligns or coordinates with provincial initiatives like ICES?
