Patient-Centred Care for Women research partners needed for grant applications

PATIENT PARTNERS

- In collaboration with researchers and clinicians across Canada, I am planning two research funding applications due by very early August. They will develop and evaluate an intervention to improve patient-centred care for women who experienced hypertensive disorders during pregnancy and as a result have premature risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and/or potentially other conditions, which can be controlled through medication, diet and exercise, but often go undiagnosed

- This is clinical focus because the research will take place in 17 clinics across Canada that specialize in postpartum CVD risk

- We seek two women with postpartum CVD risk to be research partners; please contact me directly if you have this and may be interested, or know of someone who does
