      Your Input Is Needed!
Join A Caregiver Co-Design Working Group

The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) exists to make it easier for caregivers to be caregivers. Our work includes amplifying existing supports and services so all caregivers have access to the help they need regardless of where they live, disease or age. The OCO will also build new programs and services where gaps exist.

We can't do this work alone. We are currently looking for caregivers who are interested in partnering with us to co-design new supports and services.

      1. The Ontario Caregiver Organization Website.

This summer, we are beginning important work to update our website. Improving our website will enable us to better support caregivers and healthcare providers with information and support programs.

We are looking for approximately 10-12 caregiver partners to join our website working group to help co-design this important communication tool.

Working group members will invest approximately 10-15 hours over the project lifespan (between July and October). You will be asked to participate in an in-person, three-hour workshop and then (often remotely) offer your responses to the work as it develops. The first workshop is scheduled for Thursday, July 25 from 6 - 9 p.m. The meeting will be held at The Ontario Caregiver Organization - 180 Dundas Street West, Toronto.

      Your responsibilities:

      Participate in a workshop

Review and provide feedback on the recommendations report for the project

Review and provide feedback on the website design

Review and provide feedback on website content

Caregivers will receive an honorarium in the amount of $250. In addition, expenses, including respite will be covered.

If this role is of interest to you please contact Danielle Van Duzer
      at Danielle.vanduzer@ontariocaregiver.ca or 416.362.2273 ext. 1015 by July 19.
