• Professional Responsibilities in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Education

Your feedback helps to make sure policy decisions are informed by patient and caregiver experiences and expectations.

Online CPSO Policy Consultations

CPSO is currently seeking your feedback as part of two consultations:

Third Party Reports & Medical Expert: Have you ever needed a physician to complete an insurance form? Provide information about your health as part of a workplace or legal proceeding? These policies set expectations for physicians who complete or prepare third party reports (such as insurance forms), conduct independent medical examinations, or act as medical experts.

Professional Responsibilities in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Education: Direct observation and provision of care are essential parts of medical students and residents training and education. These two policies set expectations for physicians involved in medical education, including when care is provided by residents or medical students.
