CSPO wants to hear our thoughts on the current policy and 1our experiences with end-of-life care more broadly. For example, some general questions we have included:

      • Does the current policy serve and protect the public interest? Does it contain practical expectations for physicians?
      • How can the CPSO support and enable the delivery of quality end-of-life care?
      • What issues relating to end-of-life care are physicians and the public looking to the CPSO to provide guidance on or set expectations for?

Or please answer the specific questions we have in our online survey regarding the current policy content (click here to download the PDF list of questions).

Please provide your feedback by April 12, 2021.

Thanks Toby. I have participated in some of these consultations. It's important to have the caregiver and patient voice represented here (in my opinion)

Not to sound jaded, although it probably does, "it's about time". I worked in palliative medicine/hospice care for 30 years, and have been retired for 14years! I remember a colleague and I 40 years ago trying out best to get attention to the need for palliative medicine, for policies, for education, for accountability ...as we saw the demographics...the tsunami of aged coming .... and now, finally, after all these years! Okay, off my soap box. Let's get to work and respond!
