The CIHR Institute of Population and Public Health is hosting a series of sessions to support a broad national dialogue with community members on the future of Canadian public health systems .The goal is to “ identify unified priorities and accompanying strategies to build robust and responsive public health systems fully prepared to address current challenges and future threats. Our ultimate goal is to inform the refresh of our Strategic Plan in 2022.”

IPPH has developed a background paper. This paper is designed to inspire a detailed discussion on what Canadian public health systems of the future could look like.
