Participants can expect to meet fellow patients involved in HTA, experts in the field of HTA, and to learn about the latest developments in HTA methods and experiences.

I actually succeeded with this application, even though I thought it was a very far fetched possibility. It just goes to show that it's hard to predict what we may succeed at. This is the note they sent:

"We are pleased to notify you that your application for a grant to participate virtually in the 2022 HTAi Annual Meeting has been approved. This will cover the costs of your registration for the conference.

Please know that this was a very difficult determination process for us. This year, we received our most generous sponsorship to date from Edwards Lifesciences, Janssen and Novartis. However, due to the unprecedented interest (135 applications), these funds could not cover all applications. We therefore asked our volunteer reviewers to score applications to determine successful applications, including ensuring representation from a diversity of regions.

This unprecedented level of interest overwhelmed our review process, so we apologize for the late notice. We will provide more information on how to proceed with making arrangements in the next few days, but in the meantime, congratulations, and thank you for your interest!"

My pass is virtual only. I would be very surprised if my pass covered expenses to The Netherlands. But that would be great as I have fao& friends there.
