Ah, i have just read that the deadline for this is July 18. So probably won't hear until several weeks after that.

you must be thinking about the conference, as I was... I think the conference is in August if I remember correctly...

That doesn't make any sense since they are only holding hotel rooms till July 15th. How are PTs supposed to book at the special rate if they are releasing the rooms before the deadline? The conference is the third week of August. That also leaves only a month to book flights.

Originally when I applied, it said notification would be this week, unless they have changed it. I am confused now.

The nomination deadline for their patient liaison group is July 13th..maybe that was what you saw? That's a separate thing.

CMA informed me that they would let patient applicants know by June 22nd who will receive scholarships and said due to larger response than they anticipated the increased it from 20 to 25. But I have not heard a word yet.

I emailed to ask and this was the response:

”Sponsorship selections have not been made public yet. We’ve been delayed because the unexpected popularity of the program. We received hundreds of application, which totally caught us off guard. And to make it harder they were EXCELLENT applications. All of this has caused some delays. We’re hoping to announce by the end of the week.”

Meaning today would be the day.

That's excellent. You can have a mini-PAN meeting. Heather Thiessen and Amy Ma are also going to be there. too

Let's hope a few more of us weigh in with acceptances too. For the moment that is our best way to meet up and develop cohesion.

Alies and I will be in Ottawa in November for the SPOR Summit, and I know Alies and Carolyn (I think) will be in Ottawa in September (?) for the workplace conference.

Ah, I guess I misunderstood. When you wrote that you had been "offered a spot in the program," I took that to mean that you were presenting something. Sorry. I understand now that you meant your application had been accepted
